Warnings for Oxygen Cylinders

• Do not drop the cylinder. If the cylinder has been dropped. Do not use and inform Heeson Medical immediately. If the cylinder is fractured it can turn into a high powered missile.
• DO NOT drag, roll or slide the cylinder
• DO NOT use around an open flame, it can explode.

WARNINGS and SAFETY for all oxygen equipment

Keep all Oxygen equipment away from any heat source. (examples below)

• Gas heaters
• Electric heaters
• Wood fire heaters
• Hair dryers
• Toasters
• Microwave and conventional ovens
• Anything that creates a spark
• No smoking whilst on Oxygen or near Oxygen in use
• Do not smoke inside the premises of any person using or where oxygen is being used
• Do not use any petroleum based products when using Oxygen. These include Vaseline, paraffin wax or any grease or oil.
